Summary | Status: indeterminate (Category IV), a rare and poorly studied species, known by only a few specimens. It has been found in eastern Kazakstan. It is necessary to determine the present range of its distribution among the ridges of the river valleys surrounding Lake Zaysan and determine its population. The biology of this snake has not been studied, artificial breeding has not been done and no protective measures have been developed to date. |
